I did some catching up on Area5.tv’s Co-Op shows 5 & 6. In particular episode 5 had me jotting down links left right and centre as it showed off some absolutely fascinating developers from the indie games scene. Looks like I’ll be spending some time this week checking out all the site mentioned and seeing these creations for myself wherever possible. Keep up the great work guys!

The coutdown is still long, but the screens coming out of THQ/Relic are promising!

My favoured game manager, Xfire, has recently added a video capture mode to run alongside the screen capture service. It’s in beta, however my first test seems to has worked fine.. check out the results:

I recorded the source at 1024×768 and then Divxed the file down to 640×480. Any jerkiness is due to my machines original rendering of the footage.
